Privacy is one of the most important things to have, that's why browsing the Internet without leaving any traces behind is a welcomed feature in any browser. NoTrax is one such browser with its primary focus on securing your privacy.

It's a really small application. In fact, the installation kit is double the size of the program itself. You only need to wait for 10 Mb to finish downloading. The installation process is quick and it won't bother you with default browsers or anything of the sorts.

Although the browser's window looks nice, in time you'll notice that its design is rather old. But aesthetics is not what NoTrax is about. Its simplicity is the key. You can use it to access web pages. That's all the program does, which is the general idea here. The browser won't leave any records of your activity. It won't create any logs, write anything in the registry, nor anywhere else on your PC. It doesn't even use the recycle bin. The cache it creates can be deleted at anytime with just two clicks. You can also set it to shut itself down after it becomes idle.

So why would you want a browser that leaves no history behind? Apart from the obvious reason... The main idea behind this browser is that you always risk getting a nasty bug from the Internet. You might not feel right if you save a password or an account number somewhere or, if you lose your laptop, no one can see what you have been doing.
